2-Semester Pathway - International Year One - Business and Management - Transfer to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - International Business

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In the International Year One programme, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

International Year One in Business & Management will introduce you to technical principles while helping you develop your creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills. You will progress to a wide range of business and management degrees with the confidence to think logically, coordinate projects and learn to effectively manage.

In this Bachelor of Science in International Business, explore innovative approaches to international management and develop a global understanding of business and society. On this degree you’ll study the core processes of management and discover how they shape international organisations.

You’ll mainly learn about the world’s key business regions including the European Union, North America, East and South East Asia and East and Central Europe. You’ll also investigate trends in international business and global strategy and examine marketing and human resource management from an international perspective. There are a wide range of options including modules on entrepreneurship and financial management. For your final year project, you’ll investigate a specialist area of international business.
