This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex.

This Pre-Masters programme is a preparational course for international students who wish to study one of a range of Masters degrees at the University of Sussex.

The Pre-Masters in Business, Media and Social Sciences, provides a route to a variety of postgraduate degrees at the University of Sussex. On all pathways, students will study a combination of general and specialist modules to improve their knowledge and skills to prepare them for postgraduate study. Students will also study the Skills for Success module to provide them with the employability skills needed to succeed in their career.

International Management MSc

The international business world is ever changing and challenging. On this course, students will develop an understanding of how globalisation shapes business decisions. Students will gain the confidence to manage organisations and make reliable decisions in an international context.

This MSc is for students if they plan to pursue a career in an international enterprise, or wish to understand the complexities of doing business in the contemporary global business environment. Throughout their studies, students will:

• learn about the economic, cultural, legal and political differences in the international business environment • study critical business processes and managerial functions such as accounting and marketing • explore socially responsible and sustainable management practices and why they are essential for businesses to succeed • gain skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods, and apply them in their own research projects.

Students have the opportunity to tailor the degree to their interests. Choose from a range of options including ethics and organisations, globalisation and integration, international human resource management, and innovation for sustainability.

Students are taught by lecturers, together with internationally recognised researchers whose expertise informs their teaching. Some of the lecturers have worked in industry and bring real-world experience into the learning environment.
