Associate of Arts - Transfer Degree - Equity and Social Justice

With an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree Direct Transfer Agreement (D.T.A.), students will meet the general education course requirements for most arts and sciences bachelor’s degrees. The Equity and Social Justice Emphasis (ESJ) offers students a unique opportunity to study the social, economic, cultural, and political forces that have shaped historic and contemporary experiences of the diverse communities. Students engage in an interdisciplinary examination of various dimensions of human diversity – including race, class, gender, sexuality, ability, religion, and more – with a focus on social justice and change.

Applicants may choose to transfer their degree internally or through other external institutions.
