Seattle Central’s associate degree in Social and Human Services will help students develop the skills needed to improve the lives of others and to make a real difference in their community. The Social and Human Services associate degree will give students the knowledge and abilities to help them launch a career in community-oriented social and human services occupations, or to continue their education through a bachelor's degree program. With in-demand skills, our graduates find work in a variety of areas, including: • Social and family services • Corrections and justice involved youth • Community development and advocacy • Mental health services • Rehabilitation services • Substance abuse disorder • Housing • Child welfare • Services for aging adults
