This two-year pathway is designed for students who wish to complete an Associate of Arts – Direct Transfer degree with an emphasis in Social Work. Students in this pathway will focus on a combination of sociology and psychology courses. This is a flexible major that will allow students to tailor their course work to their interests. Students who complete this pathway will be ready to enter a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work program.
Completion of this program is designed to prepare students for transferring into a Social Work major at a four-year college or university and satisfy prerequisite requirements for students entering a Social Work or related major.
