With an Associate of Science degree, students will be prepared to transfer to a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) program at the university of their choice.

Health courses at Seattle Central teach applied sciences in the delivery of healthcare to humans. The Health and Wellness course at Seattle Central can be student's first step on the path to a professional career in medical health. This course offers they practical information on health, wellness and prevention to broaden perspectives and knowledge on healthier lifestyle choices. Following the initial Health and Wellness course, it’s recommended that they choose a transfer degree based on their planned major that will lead to the career theywant to pursue. If students are planning to pursue a professional medical career such as doctor, dentist, veterinarian, pharmacist, optometrist, or physical therapist, they will be required to take biology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, genetics, calculus, statistics, social sciences and/or humanities courses. How they prepare for a career in the health sciences at Seattle Central will depend on the prerequisite requirements for their chosen professional program and the major students decide to pursue once they transfer to a four-year university or college.

Applicants may choose to transfer their degree internally or through other external institutions.
