The stimulating Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) BEng degree programme is designed to give students a thorough background in Mechanical Engineering and the expertise and knowledge to develop and implement new automotive technologies. This course provides students with the skills to deliver results in an ever-changing industry. Students will benefit from a research-led culture, which informs the way the programme is taught. The opportunity is also open to students to get involved in work on UBRacing – the University of Birmingham's Formula Student racing team, which competes throughout the world. Students will be the subject expert on a major project during the Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) degree where they will apply their in-depth technical knowledge. This will provide students with vital employability skills that will give them a competitive edge in applications forms, interviews and assessment tests for graduate jobs.
