Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Business Management (N200)

This innovative Business Management degree, designed in conjunction with leading industrialists, provides students with insights and understanding of contemporary business themes including entrepreneurship. The course equips students with vital business skills and provides them with an opportunity to practice them in both traditional and virtual business environments. In addition to the degree, students will gain the highly sought after and widely recognised CMI Level 6 Diploma in Management and Leadership. The University's Business Management BA is accredited at level 6 by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), an internationally renowned professional body. While studying on this course, students will gain membership to CMI and will be able to access its facilities, attend events, join a mentoring scheme and access over 220,000 live management job postings. This course will equip students with the key business skills and knowledge needed to succeed in multinational organisations. Students will be provided with an in-depth understanding of all stages of the business management process, from conceptualisation to strategic evaluation. Students will study a broad range of fields such as finance management, economics, marketing, strategy and human resources, and get the chance to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-life, up-to-date case studies. Students will also hear from specialist guest lecturers, visit a variety of organisations and participate in online business simulations throughout their course. The University’s business incubator, Accelerator, will prove an invaluable resource for flexing their entrepreneurial muscles. Students will have the option to visit the Accelerator facilities and to participate in sessions and competitions. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in work-based learning as part of their degree. This will give students real-world experience that will set them apart from other graduates when they enter the job market, as well as giving them the chance to put their newfound knowledge to the test. On completing the course, students will receive their Business Management BA (Hons) degree and a Level 6 Chartered Management Institute (CMI) diploma. An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
