What you will study
This Economics and Finance degree course explores current debates in the field, including world growth patterns, trade flows, financial crises, business lending and volatility in asset prices. By also studying everyday matters such as profit determination and investment analysis, students will develop the knowledge needed to effectively navigate the financial world.
This undergraduate degree will help students to develop key transferable skills valued by employers. These vital skills include team-work, solving business problems, IT analysis, work presentations and managing their own performance.
At London Met, students will learn from economists who are internationally recognised for their research and use the latest insights to contribute to their education. Many of the staff have worked as expert advisers to organisations such as the European Commission, the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), the UK Treasury and other departments within the UK and Italian governments.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
