Overview
This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. In the international foundation year, students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into students' intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.
The International Foundation Year in Business & Social Sciences will familiarize students with a wide area of study. They will develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing them with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.
This joint degree is offered in partnership with Strathclyde Business School.
Students will develop mathematical and statistical expertise at the same time as completing a fully-accredited Accounting degree. This course could lead to training for membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland.
They will look at statistical techniques in data analysis and the use of mathematical models. This flexible degree structure enables transfer between courses.
