Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Music and Politics (WLH2)

As a world-renowned city of music - with active and increasingly growing popular, classical, jazz, electronic and experimental music scenes - Liverpool is an ideal location for pursuing the creative practice and study of music. The BA Music Program at Liverpool Hope University will offer students the opportunity to explore the many facets of performing, composing, producing, and intellectually engaging with music across a broad range of topics and genres, including popular, classical, jazz, electronic, and world music traditions. The Politics program will allow students to explore key ideas, institutions and politics in an international, national and local context. They will be taught by staff who are experts in their fields, who will teach them to engage with political research and develop the capacity to be an independent, critically-minded scholar. The course also aims to equip students with transferable skills to take into the world of work.
