What you will study

Economics explains almost everything. Food prices. Gas prices. Political decisions. Personal choices. Interest rates. Taxes. All of it can be explained through economics. Through the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at UNB, students will learn the foundations of economics and how it shapes the world. Students will learn how to explain economic phenomenon, analyze economic impacts, and recommend ways to solve complex economic problems. At UNB 's Fredericton campus students have the option to complete an honours in economics and students will learn from faculty members recognized nationally and internationally for teaching and research. Small class sizes means greater interaction between students, their instructors, and their colleagues.

Hands-on learning: • Co-operative (Co-op) education program consisting of a minimum of three four-month work terms. Accredited by the Canadian Association for Co-operative Education.

Skills students will acquire: • Interpreting and communicating complex economic issues • Presenting solutions to solve economic problems or interpret markets • Implementing concrete economic strategies based on theoretical information • Conducting and explaining scientific research • Building models to explain and predict economic behaviour
