Master of Sustainability - Energy Security

The Master of Sustainability – Energy Security at the University of Saskatchewan is a postgraduate program designed to prepare students to address complex challenges related to sustainable energy production, distribution, and policy. Delivered through the School of Environment and Sustainability (SENS), the program integrates interdisciplinary research, applied learning, and policy analysis to develop solutions for energy transition and environmental resilience.

Students explore subjects such as renewable energy systems, energy security and geopolitics, climate change mitigation, and sustainable resource management. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, evidence‑based decision making, and collaboration across disciplines, equipping graduates to analyze and influence the future of sustainable energy at local, national, and global scales.
