What you will study

Learners will work with the College record label and the in-house local radio station to develop their skills for professional employment in the music industry. Tutors on the course offer their professional expertise to deliver a largely practical performance focus including: rehearsal, live performance and technical development, whilst providing essential grounding in theoretical elements.

There are no formal examinations on this course but students will be expected to complete some formative testing. Learners will be expected to complete a portfolio of work that demonstrates their skills as a performer.

Students will be provided with skills in:

• Solo music performance • Working and developing as an ensemble • Developing music performance techniques
