Overview
Learners will work with the College record label and the in-house local radio station to develop their skills for professional employment in the music industry and audio/visual industry. Tutors on the course offer their professional expertise to deliver a largely practical performance focus including: rehearsal, live performance and technical development, whilst providing essential grounding in theoretical elements.
There are no formal examinations on this course but, students will be expected to complete some formative testing and on-line assessment. Learners will be expected to complete a portfolio of work that demonstrates their skills as an audio engineer.
Students will be provided with skills in:
• Audio recording • Audio/MIDI sequencing • Synthesis and sampling
