Overview

The MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and is designed to develop the skills and knowledge required to become an effective and innovative practitioner in the field.

The programme responds to the growing importance of logistics and supply chain management in supporting global resilience, particularly in an increasingly complex and unpredictable environment. It equips students with the strategic capabilities needed to manage complexity, drive innovation, and lead within an industry that plays a critical role in the global economy.

The course addresses key operational aspects across both product-based and service industries. It explores the full supply chain process, from initial design and sourcing through to delivery, with a focus on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing customer service.

Students develop an understanding of how to meet customer requirements by ensuring the delivery of the right goods, in the right quantity and quality, at the right price, place, and time. The programme also highlights the importance of managing risk and responding effectively to uncertainties within modern supply chains.
