Overview

If you hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help you gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at the University of York. Your course length is determined mainly by your English language level (UKVI IELTS score).

Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If your course is longer than 2 terms, you’ll take additional modules designed to improve one or more of your English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.

Master of Science - Global Marketing The MSc Global Marketing will equip students with an in-depth and critical understanding of marketing theories as they apply to local, national and international environments.

The course stands out from other marketing degrees with its international focus, its emphasis on ethical and sustainable marketing and its formal links with industry.

Students will study a range of contemporary topics based on York's leading research, including global marketing, social and ethical marketing, digital marketing and brand management.
