2.5-Term Pathway - Pre-Master's for Business, Law and Social Sciences - Transfer to Master of Science - International Business and Strategic Management

If you hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help you gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at the University of York. Your course length is determined mainly by your English language level (UKVI IELTS score).

Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If your course is longer than 2 terms, you’ll take additional modules designed to improve one or more of your English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.

This MSc looks in depth at issues which affect businesses operating internationally, from challenges of environmental sustainability and social responsibility to ethical management across cultures.

Students will develop their skills in critical analysis, information processing, and data presentation. They'll prepare for a range of careers in international business and management, with the skills and outlook to thrive in an increasingly interconnected global workplace.
