What you will study
The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a higher degree by research that is completed entirely through independent inquiry. Graduates of the program demonstrate an advanced and integrated understanding of a complex and specialised body of knowledge.
Normally undertaken over two years of full-time study, the MPhil requires candidates to demonstrate their capacity for independent research through the submission of a substantial thesis or, where appropriate, a portfolio of creative works accompanied by an exegesis. Throughout the research journey, candidates are supported and guided by an academic supervisory team.
Within this program, candidates undertake a research project within the broad field of engineering.
