Overview
The Diploma of International Hotel and Resort Management degree provides a grounding in managing accommodation-based businesses around the world. This qualification introduces guest relations, front office management, food and beverage, housekeeping and property management. As part of the course, students will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of day-to-day operations.
This course is studied at Blue Mountain's live-in campus at Leura in the Blue Mountains, which functions as a simulated hotel. Students will study a broad range of subjects from accounting to food and beverage, and will undertake an industry placement. During this course they will be introduced to higher level hospitality concepts as well as the business and management principles graduates need to become a leader in the hotel industry.
