Overview
The MRes in Biosciences offers students the opportunity to customize their studies to align with their individual research interests. With the flexibility to focus on one or more areas, the research degrees in biosciences can serve as a stepping stone to a career in multidisciplinary research.
The experienced research staff at the institution have diverse interests spanning the entire spectrum of bioscience research, including microbiology, sustainable agriculture, advanced technologies, food and drink, plant and crop sciences, animal and livestock studies, fundamental biology, nutrition and health, and soil and environmental science.
Students will have access to well-equipped laboratories and facilities on the Sutton Bonington Campus. They will be part of a dynamic research community, learning from both emerging and established research leaders, honing their transferable skills, and graduating with high-level training to prepare them for a successful career in research.
