What you will study

The MSc in Engineering Management with Cyber Security enables students to explore software project management issues and address challenges with advanced skills to meet the growing demand from multi-sector organizations seeking a software and digital project management skill set.

There is an increasing global demand for graduates with specialized expertise in cyber security projects and the capabilities to address emerging threats to digital and information security sectors. This course develops the knowledge and skill set required to plan, design, and deliver software management projects on time and within budget. It also focuses strategically on developing the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary characteristics of modern digital and cyber security project-based environments. Graduates will acquire an understanding of a broad range of cyber security and digital threats and their relation to project practices in the industry.

The London base is situated in the heart of Bloomsbury. The program includes a historic base at 11 Bedford Square and a dedicated suite in the University of London's impressive headquarters, Senate House, located opposite the British Museum. These three buildings, just a few minutes apart, provide an inspiring and vibrant environment to stimulate creative and critical thinking.

Upon graduating, students will possess knowledge of how cyber security projects are planned, developed, and delivered, as well as the ability to manage a project throughout its full lifecycle.

Students will develop the knowledge and skill set to plan, design, and deliver cyber security projects on time and within budget. They will learn how to interact with developers and understand cyber security concepts, resulting in excellent career prospects in cyber security project management and other related disciplines.
