Master of Surgery - Vascular and Endovascular Surgery

This Teesside University course develops students' specialist expertise within vascular and endovascular surgery at postgraduate level.

Delivered with support from consultants in vascular and endovascular surgery, this course is aimed at qualified doctors working within vascular or endovascular surgery who wish to gain a postgraduate qualification.

Students develop their understanding of the concepts and principles underpinning the care of patients undergoing vascular or endovascular surgery, as well as their ability to find, critically evaluate and apply relevant research evidence to ensure it is clinically effective. The knowledge and skills students develop enhance their clinical decision-making and research practice within vascular and endovascular surgery, enabling them to contribute to the knowledge base. Students are encouraged to focus on topical issues within current vascular and endovascular surgery practice, concentrating on aspects of practice that are relevant to their specific interests and practice.
