Teesside University
The DBA programme involves taught modules, which provide the theoretical and interdisciplinary foundations necessary for undertaking research at doctoral level. Outside the formal sessions, students are encouraged to participate in University and school-level events, such as research seminars and conferences.
They start by getting your bearings with research, then learn how to engage with academic literature at a doctoral level, before formally reviewing the literature relevant to your proposed study. Students are then asked to design a study, which brings to the fore some complex philosophical issues about what we can know from the data we obtain. Next they analyse and present their data in a meaningful way. Finally, they write up their study and prepare to defend it at an oral (viva voce) examination.
As the university states them. Whether you meet them depends on your own results — ask us and a consultant will check with you.
Tell us, and a consultant will go through the entry requirements with you, work out what you already have and what is missing, and take the application from there.
Leave your name and a way to reach you, and a consultant will get in touch in the language you are reading this in.
