College St-Michel
College-St. Michel's Accounting program helps each student develop the skills needed to perform the functions relating to computerized accounting and finance activities. They will be able to deal with all stages of the accounting cycle and provide technical support in accounting-related tasks: implementation of accounting systems, working capital management, financial analysis, internal control and audit, budget planning, determination of manufacturing costs, and so on. Another area where the expertise of these individuals can be called upon is personal income tax.
This program teaches students to: • Use the possibilities of operating software and current application for administrative purposes. • Analyze and process data from the accounting cycle. • Use sources of law applicable to administrative and commercial contexts. • Contribute to the financial analysis of investment and financing projects. • Contribute to planning and budget control as well as measuring the performance of business activities. • Contribute to the management of working capital. • Manage stocks and the acquisition of goods and services.
College St. Michel will offer a $500 scholarship to students with IELTS scores of 6.5 overall and 6.0 in the bands. College St. Michel will offer a $1000 scholarship to students with IELTS scores of 7.0 overall. Students will receive their scholarship in the third semester.
