3-Term Pathway - International Foundation Year in Business and Social Sciences - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Business Enterprise

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. In the international foundation year, students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into students' intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business & Social Sciences will familiarize students with a wide area of study. They will develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing them with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

This course is designed for students who want to start a new enterprise, those who want to take over the management of an existing business and those who are aiming for leadership positions.

Business enterprise is about the creation of wealth. This course focuses on the ability of entrepreneurship to challenge the norm and disrupt established markets through the creation of new ventures.

This programme will allow students to develop an awareness of academic and practitioner perspectives and apply them in real-life settings. It will also give them the real-world skills that are highly valued in a competitive employment market.
