2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Art, Media and Architecture - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Music Performance

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In your international foundation year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Art, Media and Architecture will provide you the skills and tools necessary for success in an undergraduate degree in an array of fields such as design, media, journalism and even fashion design. During your time at the University of Huddersfield, you will study core subjects as well as optional subjects as media campaigns intentionally crafted for your chosen field of study. All of these skills will be key for future academic success at the University of Huddersfield

If you have a passion for solo work, band and ensemble performance across a variety of styles and contexts, this course will suit you. You'll also study composition, songwriting, musicology, and technology modules that will enhance and support your development as a performer.

For pop, brass band, classical, or jazz musicians who want to develop their performance skills to an exceptional level, this course gives you the chance to play in specific bands and groups or focus on playing original music.

The course will prepare you for a career as a professional performer, teacher or a musician with a portfolio career.
