Overview

Students will gain a strong understanding of the film and television industry and its significance across the globe. Through practical learning, students will develop an array of transferrable skills, preparing them for a huge choice of roles in the cultural industries or for further study.

The course shares a common first year with London Met's Film and Television Production BA, which covers essential knowledge of the film and television industry and basic audio-visual skills. Students will specialise in academic, historical and cultural analysis of film and television.

Recent graduates have gone on to study master's degrees at King's College London or take on roles in organisations including Netflix, Curzon Cinemas, the British Film Institute (BFI) and a variety of production companies including Graham Norton’s So Television.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
