What you will study

The Interpersonal Violence and Abuse Studies course is ideal for those who have a background in psychology, sociology or criminology, who wish to gain greater insight into the effects of being abusive or being abused. Students will develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a broad range of topics pertinent to interpersonal violence and abuse. Students will look at the impact of abuse in different international, cultural and social contexts, and they'll have the chance to examine practice and research from theoretical perspectives. This course can lead to careers in social work, mental health contexts and the children's workforce.
