Bachelor of Arts - Economics (Optional Co-op)

Program Description Economists are excited by changing environments and unique challenges. When students study economics, they are examining decision-making processes at the personal and political level and contributing to a way of thinking that will influence countless social issues, including: poverty, climate change, health care, international development, globalization, immigration, financial institutions, and government regulations. Economics will prepare students for a career of investigating and analyzing economic events, forecasting trends, and creating efficient policies while innovating current systems.

A comprehensive approach is taken to the study of economics. At UNB, students build strong fundamentals by gaining knowledge about modern economic issues and problems facing the current system.
