Master of Science - Applied Bioinformatics

The Applied Bioinformatics and Genomics program is to provide individuals with a platform to explore, analyze, and interpret contemporary biological data. This program offers Masters level instruction in Bioinformatics with a specific focus on genomic bioinformatics. Students will develop key skills for analyzing omics data, including genomics data from next-generation sequencing technologies. Additionally, they will also acquire skills in emerging omics areas such as metabolomics and proteomics.

The program has been designed to cater to the needs of academic research, biotechnology, and the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Instruction will be provided in computational and statistical biosciences, enabling students to acquire the additional complementary skills necessary to effectively work within a multidisciplinary bioinformatics field.
