English Language Preparation + 2-Term Pathway - Pre-Masters in Business and Social Sciences - Continue to Master of Science - Business Analysis and Consulting

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. Advancement into the intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The Pre-Masters in Business and Social Sciences will introduce students to the world of business and the application/theory of social science in everyday life. They will learn about the different political systems around the world and begin to understand how international issues are connected.

The MSc in Business Analysis & Consulting has been developed to equip students with the practical, evaluative and analytical skills to allow them, as a future manager or consultant, to influence and develop strategy and performance within organisations.

Students will learn the key quantitative business analysis methods necessary to evaluate performance.

Industry involvement is at the heart of the course. Students will spend three weeks in January on a work placement, and have the opportunity to undertake their summer project in collaboration with an external organisation.

In addition, students will learn how to use business models to support the development of strategy for organisations and to help them to monitor and measure strategic processes.

By the end of the programme, students will have developed the key skills of business consulting, which are applicable to any organisation.
