Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Theatre and Film (WP43)

The Theatre and Film BA merges cinematic and performance languages, explored through practice and theory. Develop the skills required for successful employment opportunities within the international film and television industries, and within theatre and performing arts. Studying this course, students will build a versatile approach, responding to the increasingly changeable nature of the theatre and film industries. They’ll develop skills in performing, writing for stage and screen, directing, producing and critically engaging with the language of cinema and live performance. London Metropolitan University's graduates have won awards in film festivals including Cannes, starred in BBC and CBS series, formed acclaimed theatre and film production companies across the globe, featured in long-running West End shows and worked successfully in all aspects of the theatre, film and television industries. An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
