What you will study

The Certificate of Proficiency in English as a Second Language at Bishop’s University may be completed on either a part-time or full-time basis within the English Language Studies program. It consists of a sequence of courses in English as a Second Language, English Language and Composition, and/or English Literature.

Students who successfully complete the certificate achieve a level of proficiency that enables them to take university courses conducted in English, as well as to use English confidently in professional and everyday settings.
