Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science - Medical Laboratory Sciences

ONU offers a NAACLS accredited bachelor’s degree program and a post-baccalaureate certificate program in medical laboratory science. Both programs include biology, chemistry, organic chemistry and anatomy courses and emphasize hands-on learning. Students will spend a lot of time experimenting in the sophisticated medical and science labs. There, they’ll work side-by-side with real professors – not graduate assistants or lab instructors. Large institutions just can’t provide the individualized attention and opportunity students will find at ONU. Their medical laboratory science students experience real-world situations. They practice procedures utilized in today’s laboratories, develop specimen collection skills through participation in numerous health fairs, and collaborate with other health profession students on case studies. They star on sports teams, participate in music ensembles and lead student organizations.
