Overview

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. In the international foundation year, students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into students' intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business & Social Sciences will familiarize students with a wide area of study. They will develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing them with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

Studying Hospitality & Tourism Management opens doors to the largest and fast-growing sector of the economy.

This degree will prepare students for leadership roles in this dynamic industry which generates £5 billion to the Scottish economy and creates one in 10 jobs. They’ll have the skills to manage operations and business across a range of industries including hospitality, tourism and events.

In business law, students will study commercial law and business legal regulations. These include company law, competition law and human rights law.
