Graduate Diploma - Law

The Graduate Diploma in Law is one of the longest running and highest rated of all such courses in London. The Joint Academic Stage Board (of the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board) has given it special commendation for its exceptionally high quality, including teaching, management and careers enhancement initiatives. The Graduate Diploma in Law will give students sound knowledge of the seven areas of law considered fundamental by the professional bodies.

The course aims to: • Develop an understanding of the English legal system to provide a thorough grounding in the foundations of legal knowledge • Train students in the professional skills of legal research, analysis and presentation in a friendly and nurturing environment

Students may choose their own title for their research dissertation, subject to approval, which gives students the early opportunity to specialise in an area of particular interest to them. An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
