This master’s course is designed to equip students with the professional skills required to succeed in the digital media production industry, while also developing a strong foundation in production theory.

The course offers a comprehensive understanding of visual and audio media and their ongoing evolution. These include radio and TV studios, VR and motion capture equipment, 360-degree cameras, and audio and video editing suites, as well as a full range of production equipment available for hire.
Students interested in video production develop an in-depth understanding of production processes and explore content creation and distribution for online platforms. Those focusing on audio production build skills in sound design, multitrack editing, and audio mastering, with opportunities to produce podcasts, on-demand content, and radio features. The course also includes training in live studio production, presentation skills, and creating targeted content for social media.
The programme supports the development of entrepreneurial and networking skills, particularly for those interested in freelance careers. Specialist production modules reflect industry practices, often involving collaborative work. This practical and applied approach ensures that graduates are well prepared to transition into professional roles within the digital media production industry.
