Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Physiotherapy (B160)

Students can become physiotherapists with a practice and evidence-based BSc Physiotherapy degree from Canterbury Christ Church University. Accredited by both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), graduates will be ready to register as chartered physiotherapists upon completion of the program.

Whether students aim to work for the NHS or in the private sector, studying Physiotherapy at the university will prepare them for a range of sectors. Through community placements and hospital experience, they will accumulate a minimum of 1,000 hours of placement ensuring they are confident and competent when they enter the professional sphere.

During the physiotherapy course, students will build a placement passport that serves as evidence to showcase the experience and versatility they gain throughout their three years in the program. They will develop their clinical skills and enhance their confidence when working with patients.

They will gain inter-professional experience by learning alongside students from other sectors, including paramedics, radiographers, occupational therapists, and operating department practitioners.
