2-Semester Pathway - International Year One - Business, Management and Marketing - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Business

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In the International Year One program, students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into the intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Year One in Business, Management & Marketing will help students establish subject knowledge and English. This program will also prepare students to join in the second year of an intended undergraduate degree at the University of Huddersfield Business School. With smaller class sizes and additional support to help develop academic knowledge, the modules and subjects will be akin to the same content students can expect in a chosen undergraduate degree.

Factors like transformational technology and globalisation mean businesses are competing globally. Therefore, they’re constantly looking for graduates with the right mix of talents and understanding of these challenges, to ideas and provide solutions that contribute to their future prosperity. This course offers internationally focused curriculum to help students analyse, understand and act on the global challenges and opportunities faced by both advanced economies as well as emerging and high-growth countries. It also develops cross-cultural skills and prepares students to work in an international business environment.
