Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Media Production with Foundation Year (P308)

A foundation year helps students develop the study skills and self-confidence necessary for higher education when they do not meet the entry requirements for their chosen subject.

Students will become skilled content creators, exploring the fascinating world of immersive design, gaining in-depth knowledge of social media strategies, and developing skills across a broad range of media production techniques, from podcasting to visual effects.

In this industry-centered course, students will be taught by a team of lecturers with extensive industry experience. They will gain hands-on experience with industry software and equipment, such as 360 cameras, mobile gimbals, and motion capture technologies, as well as access to green screen, TV, and audio recording studios.

A focus on emerging and innovative production will place students at the forefront of new trends and technologies. In addition to experiencing working on client briefs as part of their studies, they will have the opportunity to apply to be freelance creatives within the university's Creatives Agency.
