2-Term Pathway - International Foundation Year in Computing - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Computer Science (Games)

Program Description Studying a computing degree at Keele gives students the opportunity to learn the underpinning theories of software, hardware and computing techniques - and how to apply them in the real world. Students will learn to use technology to create new opportunities and to solve a wide range of problems, benefiting every aspect of society from the home to business, government, and beyond. In this foundation year, students will take courses in numerical techniques, programming, research and referencing, and business information systems. This program is designed to allow students to follow ambitions in either computing or mathematics disciplines, progressing to a range of degrees in Keele University's School of Computing and Mathematics. This bachelor's degree in Computer Science will provide the theoretical tools and professional skills required to solve real-world problems, help students develop the software systems of the future, and prepare students for successful careers in a sector of constant evolution. Students will also have the opportunity to take an optional study abroad international year or work placement year.
