Overview
The foundation in Health and Science offers a bridge between students' existing academic/english level and Year One of a UK undergraduate degree. Opportunities for graduates in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biology and Chemistry are vast, with global healthcare in the spotlight, and growing demand for these specialist skillsets. Students will take courses in biology, chemistry, research skills, sociology, and health policy. After completing two semesters of this program, students progress seamlessly into first year of their chosen degree in a huge variety of health and science related degrees. This bachelor's degree in Environmental Science teaches students the science behind society's ecological and conservation challenges and the system changes needed to conserve species, habitats, landscapes, and ecosystems. Students will graduate with the subject-specific, research, field and laboratory skills needed for an exciting career in this increasingly important field. Students also have the opportunity to do an optional international study abroad year or work placement year.
