Overview

The course brings together business strategy, operations, leadership, finance, and games-specific professional practice within a future-focused, interdisciplinary learning experience.

Students develop advanced capabilities in business, leadership, strategy, and analysis, applying management theory directly to real-world games production contexts, pipelines, creative workflows, and global IP ecosystems.

They gain practical experience through industry-aligned projects and partnerships, engaging in milestone-driven, consultancy-style work that emphasises responsible, ethical, and sustainable leadership within the creative economy. This prepares graduates to lead, grow, and transform game studios, digital production organisations, and creative enterprises.

Students have opportunities to engage with global brands and creative leaders through events such as Animex—one of the world’s largest festivals of animation and computer games—as well as through client briefs, mentoring, and live collaborative projects.

Learning is enhanced through access to highly specialised equipment and facilities within animation studios, game studios, VFX houses, and digital media environments.
