What you will study
The course is an introduction to modern business practice including the importance of leadership, decision-making and marketing, human resources and the financial side of running a business like Superdry or Sainsbury. The course has been up-dated to include the use of financial and marketing data, and use of social media in the modern business environment. Students will explore the influence of external factors on the fortunes of a medium/large-sized business in the 21st century.
Business is a very popular course at University. The A level teaching team is very experienced, lecturing on a wide range of academic and vocational qualifications with a proven track record of producing very good results. Some members of the team are senior examiners with leading awarding bodies. In recent years a 3-day residential trip to New York has taken place. Students also have the opportunity to attend study conferences.
