Public health is a critical global concern, demanding skilled professionals capable of addressing complex and evolving challenges. Jointly delivered by the Faculty of Human and Digital Sciences and the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, the programme draws on the strengths of two leading academic disciplines. Graduates will gain a comprehensive understanding of the foundational pillars of modern public health—prevention, promotion, and protection. The programme offers advanced training in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, enabling students to investigate and address pressing public health issues. In addition, students will engage critically with contemporary models of leadership, service delivery, and management in the public health sector. By the end of the course, graduates will be prepared to design, implement, and evaluate high-quality public health interventions, positioning them to lead transformative efforts that promote health equity and enhance community wellbeing worldwide.
