Overview
The EAP Level 3 program is a 12-week intensive academic English program designed for students at Lower Advanced level. The course provides integrated Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking focused lessons with a focus on academic texts and skills to prepare students for success at North American universities.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: • Listen actively to academic lectures and contribute with questions • Lead group-based discussion activities on academic topics • Explain both concrete and abstract ideas with examples • Interpret charts and point out and clarify important points • Write and revise a variety of academic essays • Read journal articles and extract relevant information • Enter university level programs with EGC partner institutions • Advance to Algoma University’s Undergraduate Programs
