The International Foundation Year in Business & Social Sciences will familiarize students with a wide area of study. They will develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing them with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

At Strathclyde, they are very proud of our long tradition of initial teacher education. Their staff, who work closely with education authorities, are here to help you make a difference in the schools and communities in which students will go on to work.

Primary Education is an exciting degree programme designed to meet the recommendations of the 2010 Donaldson Report, Teaching Scotland’s Future. This course will allow students to study Primary Education along with other subjects in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and to work with a wide variety of students throughout their four-year programme.
