What is food science? Designing and engineering innovative food Enhancing texture, taste and nutrition Developing sustainable ingredients and processes Making food safe and affordable What they'll study We'll teach them the science behind the food we eat. They'll learn how to create sustainable, nutritious, safe food. This applied science degree can lead to jobs in research, operations and management.
They'll investigate the sensory, physical and chemical properties of foods. Using our specialist facilities they will apply this knowledge to explore food innovation and develop new products. They'll look at consumer trends, new technology and the latest food research.
