Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sport and Exercise Science (Foundation Year) (C609)

London Metropolitan University's Sport and Exercise Science (Foundation Year) BSc (Hons) is an alternative route into undergraduate study if students don’t have the necessary qualifications or can’t meet the entry requirements to begin their studies on the standard course. On completion of this four-year degree students will graduate with the same title and award as students who study the traditional three-year course. In this four-year course, students will develop in-depth knowledge in the field of sport and exercise science, including physiology, anatomy, psychology and coaching. They'll achieve an understanding of the role of therapists and scientists in sport and learn about the ways in which these roles may help to increase performance or prevent injury. An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
